My guess is that these bike racks lived fairly normal lives for a street post. That was until Damon came around and signed them to a shady record deal that turned their otherwise standstill existence into one that resembles Mick Jagger’s. After getting a makeover that transformed them into the most iconic robo-band around, they have unfortunately let their ‘celebrity’ get the best of them and have become very narcissistic. They now only allow certain bike brands to lean against them. Fame changes people. It’s a story as old as time.
