Seinfeld Is Finally Coming to Netflix in 2021

Netflix has come up with a minor solution for those of us that are going to be mourning Friends or The Office when they leave the streaming service next year. They've acquired the Seinfeld and it will be hitting the streaming platform worldwide in 2021.

All 180 episodes of the Emmy nominated sitcom will be available on the platform in 2021 after the company came to an agreement with Sony Pictures Television.

"We can't wait to welcome Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer to their new global home on Netflix," says Netflix CCO Ted Sarandos.

In 2018, the top two most-streamed shows on Netflix in the U.S. were Friends and The Office, which are both being removed from the streaming service for WarnerMedia's HBO Max in 2020 and NBCUniversal’s service in 2021, respectively.

Will Seinfeld fill the hole in our hearts that The Office and Friends will leave? It seems unlikely, but Netflix better hope so if they don't want to lose subscribers to one of the many video streaming platforms popping up in the future.
