This Russian Cosplayer Can Transform Herself Into Anybody

Meet Jules Gudkova. She's a 21-year-old Russian singer, make-up artist, and cosplay wizard. She can transform herself into pretty much any character, but she especially loves cosplaying as Disney characters and cartoon characters.

Jules uses makeup to completely transform her face. Then she adds costumes and some digital effects in the background to complete the look. Keep reading to see Jules transform into characters from Star Wars, The Avengers, Finding Nemo, and so many more.

It's Hard To Tell Which Is Jules And Which Is Merida

Merida is a recent Disney princess from Scotland who rebels against her country's tradition and asserts herself as a powerful female force. The movie she's in is called Brave because Merida is the very definition of the word.

For this cosplay, Jules dressed up as the version of Merida featured in a photo released last year of all of the Disney princesses at a slumber party. This is casual Merida.

After the success of Riverdale, Netflix released another show about an old-timey comic series. Kiernan Shipka (who we know as Sally Draper from Mad Men) plays the title character in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Jules is channeling her inner teenage witch for this cosplay. We love how she captured Kiernan's pronounced eyebrows and signature wink. The Polaroid-style background is a nice touch, too. If you squint a little bit, you would totally think this is a photo of Kiernan.

In this photo, Jules is cosplaying as a very battered and bruised Mathilda from Léon: The Professional. This was Natalie Portman's first movie role, and it was a pretty violent movie role for a twelve-year-old. Still, this movie totally made us fall in love with the actress, and Jules wanted to pay homage to that fact.

Don't we all kind of wish that we could look like Jessica Rabbit? Well, Jules turned that wish into a reality. She looks every bit the part in this photo. Jessica Rabbit was first introduced in Who Censored Roger Rabbit? and then reintroduced in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

She has since become a cartoon icon. This character is the definition of allure. Jessica Rabbit is well-known for the quote, "I'm not bad, I was just drawn that way."

Usually, Jules dresses up as cartoons or fictional characters, but this time, she decided to cosplay as a real person. This is Jules as Scarlett Johansson as she looked when she walked the red carpet. We're not sure if the jewels on Jules' hand are real, or if they were added after in the editing process.

Do you think Jules looks a bit like Samantha Jones from Sex and the City in this photo?

If you're going to call yourself a Disney cosplayer, you have to at some point tackle Maleficent. She is one of the most iconic villains in Disney history, and Angelina Jolie put a whole new spin on her look and her character.

Cosplayers have been recreating this look since the Maleficent film came out, but we particularly love Jules' take on the villain. There's a sort of vulnerability in her eyes that's really interesting.

If you ask me, Atlantis: The Lost Empire is one of the greatest films in Disney's repertoire, but it's one that doesn't get a lot of attention. This movie has it all: adventure, betrayal, love, sacrifice, glowing tattoos... In this photo, Jules is cosplaying as Lieutenant Helga Katrina Sinclair, Rourke's German second-in-command, and lieutenant.

She may be a villain in the movie, but she's a very good looking villain, which is rare in children's cartoons.

Jules looks stunning as Emily from Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. Emily is something of a tragic figure. She dies mysteriously and she doesn't get to marry the hero of the story. She does get some sweet revenge, though, so that's pretty nice.

Jules looks very Tim Burton-y in this cosplay. She gave herself some signature Tim Burton eyebrows and she hollowed out her cheekbones with a whole lot of contour.

In this photo, Jules has chosen to dress up as the live action version of Gisele, though. Check out Jules' Instagram to see her as the cartoon version of the same character.

Tim Burton's Coraline, about a girl who gets trapped in an alternate dimension, resonated with fans of the director all over the world. We all saw a bit of ourselves in Coraline, but Jules saw enough of herself in the character that she decided to fully transform into her.

Coraline the movie is based on a book by Neil Gaiman. When asked about Coraline's name, Neil responded, "I had typed the name Caroline, and it came out wrong. I looked at the word Coraline, and knew it was someone's name. I wanted to know what happened to her."

Frozen was one of Disney's most popular movies. Kids everywhere couldn't get enough of "Let It Go." Their parents wished they would let it go, though. There are only so many times you can listen to that song... anyway, every little girl wants to be Queen Elsa. Princess Anna just doesn't get enough love.

That's why we're so glad to see Jules cosplaying as Anna rather than Elsa, although we're sure she would make a great Elsa too.

It does seem like Jules has a thing for the newer Disney princesses— and we don't blame her. These characters are strong women who don't need a prince to save them. The same can't really be said for Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty.

Jules looks adorable as Rapunzel from Tangled in this photo. Now all she needs is a little Pascal sitting on her shoulder. Every good Disney princess needs an animal sidekick.

Jules' cosplay is pretty perfect in this photo, as it always is. We wonder where she got all of those hair clips. She probably made most of them herself. You have to be a DIY queen to be good at cosplay.
