These Anti-Brexit Signs Will Show How Creative And Funny People Are

June 23, 2016, took the United Kingdom by storm. 51.9% of people were in favor of the UK separating from the EU. Thus, Brexit began, and the official farewell is on March 29, 2019. However, some activists are thinking about halting the process due to the frozen negotiations between the EU and the UK.

The Independent’s Final Say petition has accumulated 960,000, and recently, 700,000 of these supporters came together with their innovative and original signs to fight Brexit.

Not Wrong

You won the internet for the year. Ikea is a beautiful place for shopping for your housing needs. It’s more stable and trustworthy compared to cabinets in politics. Oh, and the only downside to the Swedish company is that they come with useless tools.

I think we’ve seen a few useless tools in the political world.

You Tell Me

Will-E-Coyote has gotten up to countless schemes, but he’s not happy with this one. This is a classic because it does tie into what he did on TV. But, the Looney Tunes character has seen enough shenanigans in politics.

Don’t expect him to return to England anytime soon.

Stuck In The Middle

@filipobh/Twitter
@filipobh/Twitter

Well, I don’t know why I came here tonight. I got the feeling that something ain’t right. I’m so scared in case Brexit gets worse. And, I’m wondering how I’ll get express myself. Theresa May to the left, Boris Johnson to the right.

Here I am, stuck in the middle with EU.

Read ahead to see someone who made a sign based on a popular Spice Girls song!

Anyone Can Relate To This

@RyanJohnNelson/Twitter
@RyanJohnNelson/Twitter

Yup, things are bad these days. It’s like waking up out of bed one morning and seeing that your whole world has turned upside down on the news. There’s no escaping that whatsoever, so you have to compromise. So, you come up with the most relatable sign ever.

This will win over the heart of any protester.

Great Movie Reference

Anytime Jaws is referenced is excellent. It’s one of the best films directed by Steven Speilberg, and it’s a classic quote. It’s no surprise that someone would do this, but dressing up as a shark? That’s priceless.

I think that’s also the costume Left Shark wore during the Super Bowl halftime show too.

Wannabe

Yo, I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want. If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends. Make EU last forever, friendship never ends. Taking is too easy, but that’s the way Brexit is.

Now, you have that in your head for the day.

The next sign ahead is a classic from Abba, and its song title was made into two movies.

If Only It Was Easy

I wish that option was available for at least half of my life choices. Like sometimes, I’ll be working on something, and if I screw it up, in my mind, I just delete it. However, that’s not always the case in this day and age.

It would be a benefit to have.

Good Doggos

@wooferendum/Twitter
@wooferendum/Twitter

Someone get these dogs a treat for being awesome. That’s a dog’s way of saying they’ve had enough of the Brexit situation. And, they get to do their thing while peeing on a politician’s face.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s covered in feces by the end of the rally.

Here We Go Again

@RyanJohnNelson/Twitter
@RyanJohnNelson/Twitter

Mamma mia, here I go again. My my, how can I resist you? Mama mia does the sign again. My my, just how awesome is this song?

Yes, people are brokenhearted and blue since the day people voted for Brexit. Mamma mia, now I know how bad things are.

I’m sorry, but the most annoying song from the eighties will be stuck in your head with the next sign ahead.

It’s A Trap!

The Guardian

Well, the sign isn’t wrong. It’s the people’s fault for voting to leave the EU, and it feels like a trap. It’s something that the country can’t get out of. But, if we learned anything from Star Wars, it’s not to lose hope.

Hopefully, the ship gets turned in the right direction one day.

Dystopia Not Utopia

@craigstone_/Twitter

It’s good to see bookshops getting involved. I started writing dystopian, but now, I find myself writing for current affairs too. My mom is quite adamant I should stop writing now.

The whole point of writing in fiction is to live in a make-believe world, but that’s not always how it plays out.

Classic Song

@filipobh/Twitter
@filipobh/Twitter

Never gonna run around and desert you. I just wanna tell you how I’m feeling. Gotta make you understand. We’ve hated Brexit for so long, your heart’s been aching, but you’re too shy to speak up.

Inside, we both know how great of a protest sign this really is.

The most used stock photo from memes is still on the way.

The Best Placard Yet

@DrIestynJones/Twitter
@DrIestynJones/Twitter

It’s bright and drives the point forward too. Banksy would be proud of this homage to his work of art getting shredded.

It’s so current with how people vote today. Like, you cast your ballot, but in the end, it feels like it doesn’t matter. However, don’t let that stop you from casting your vote.

Fair Enough, Piglet

@jeancoulson/Twitter
@jeancoulson/Twitter

It’s fair to say most people aren’t pleased with Brexit. For someone to come up with a sign that features Pooh and Piglet is pretty creative. It’s cute, but they have a point. This one seems to resonate with the people.

I don’t think they even qualify as liars since they don’t bring in facts.

That Stock Photo

@angrysmiley/Twitter
@angrysmiley/Twitter

Okay, that photo has been in about every meme in 2018. To be fair, this sums up the people’s vote perfectly. Some people are sick and tired of it being everywhere on the internet, but it’s just so good to use.

This was the perfect opportunity to execute one of the best memes.

Still on the way, one of the cutest signs ever that’s relatable to anyone who uses Tinder.

British Understatement

@milliem4cett/Twitter
@milliem4cett/Twitter

You can say that again. It’s a bright sign, and I think that’s the joke of it. I think it’s great to see an honest review of a protest. It’s your opportunity to be bold and express yourself.

And to think, people were accusing the march of being middle class.

Well Then

@mrdanger47/Twitter
@mrdanger47/Twitter

What do you call someone who uses the pull out method? A parent. Whatever side you support in this ongoing debate, you have to admit that this is pretty hilarious. It’s a quirky reference that I think any politician would find relatable.

The only reason why is because they pull out when things get tough.

Cute

@marcantolin/Instagram
@marcantolin/Instagram

She’s got a point here. Most people use the app to find love but have no luck. On the other hand, trolling the app during a protest? Now, that’s something else. It’s bold and who knows, maybe she met her match during the rally too.

There’s plenty of fish in the sea, folks.

What A Load Of, You Know

@FayGreenParty/Twitter
@FayGreenParty/Twitter

I guarantee you if they showed you the menu again, it would be the same thing. I like the fact that someone thinks this is a load of dog poo. I can agree because this is nothing more than politicians not giving us the truth.

Someone should send dog poop to these politicians.

Wrong And Right

@rhianbee12/Twitter
@rhianbee12/Twitter

Now, this is why nobody takes him seriously. His level of debate is either childish, spiteful, or just plain dumb. It’s pretty ridiculous, and frankly disgusting. I guess this gives Brexiters the okay to take over the world?

Your parents must be so proud of all of that.
