| September Newsletter: Fun and Games |

Dear Reader,
Since everyone is headed back to school this month I decided to dedicate this issue to postfundamentalist software and games. An exhaustive search of the web yielded some pretty fun stuff. Check out the God Simulator, for a look and feel approach to omnipotence. My old pal Sheila Sharkey wrote her first version of Typing in Tongues, for those of you who get a little shy in public. And Pete Aitken came up with a do-it-yourself Bible Code program, thanks to the Amazing Randy.
It's been a busy summer. I was interviewed the last week of August for 'Web Site of the Week' by the Marin Independent Journal. I was also interviewed by Mark Frauenfelder of HotWired for an upcoming issue. Please send sweet thoughts to him, his wife Carla and their new baby Sarina. I'll let you know the minute the interview is posted.
'Adult Christianity' has formed a working friendship with The PostFeminist Playground. They've posted my biblical fashion columns and we're planning an event for October. Their persistent nagging is the reason there are finally pictures of yours truly on the site this month. Stop by for a visit and check out their excellent writing and most cool graphics.
We've also gotten some really interesting letters from Florence Italy, Australia, Johannesburg South Africa and I've begun a promising correspondence with an ex-employee of Charles Colson. Come back next month to see what develops.
With love,
Poppy
