Dear Friend, Welcome to the business issue. This month we're looking at Christianity in the business world. My favorite vintage Christian business book is, Monday to Saturday Prayers for Men and Women in Business, which features specific prayers for writing biblical advertising copy, firing slackers with their soul in mind, and much more! We included the fabulous web survey, God's Total Quality Management (TQM) Questionaire, and though we tried to hunt down the original author, were unsuccessful at finding her/him. From the same cyber-miasma we've pulled God's resume and two of my favorite examples of bad Christian poetry - Did Jesus Use a Modem at the Sermon on the Mount? and Heaven's Grocery Store.
Mrs. Nancy Bowers has presented to her church and investors the First CASH (Christians Are Saving Homosexuals) Annual Report. The results of her efforts in the gay cure industry should prove to everyone that Mrs. Bowers, and those like her, are on the right end of this controversy. While Mrs. Bowers has been busy lightening the (financial) loads of these wayward men and women, her mentor Charles Colson has not been silent on the problem. We've given Charles Colson a make-over and boy, is he a doll! Don't miss it. The Hollywood Report - Lights! Camera! Blasphemy! is back, co-written by Pete Aitkens and Bill Geerhart. Find out all about Anne Heche's miracle-working and her nomination to sainthood.
Next month we'll be posting a Resources issue. We want to thank everyone who voted for participating in the democratic process, and for having enough faith in yourselves and each other to exercise this right. In the Resources issue we'll provide other ways for you to become involved in all sorts of things. We're revamping our site map and will consolidate our links to all the wacked out Christian web sites we've been reviewing over the years. We'll be under construction until February of 1999 when we'll unveil our new domain - www.jesus21.com, a little easier to remember than www.postfun.com/pfp, eh? The new version of Adult Christianity will be more interactive, with bulletin boards, maybe chat, and other automated features. If you'd like to help with work on the new site, drop me a line, we'd love you to be part of this.
With love,Poppy
