In February we'll look at ways artists depict God, Jesus and other Christian figures and events. We'll be featuring the Christian artwork of Basil Wolverton, whose work was a staple of MAD magazine and Weird Tales of the Future.

December 1997 Reader's Poll Results
Thanks to everyone that filled out December's reader's poll. If you haven't done so it's not too late, we'd still like to know something about you.
Although we've been online for two years most of you have been with us for six months to a year.
Y'all are from all over the place with almost every state in the union represented and many, many countries.
You've described yourselves as coming mostly from fundamentalist or Baptist backgrounds with smatterings of other denominations thrown in. Atheists also had a respectable showing. You were less inclined to pin yourselves down to a current religion though most of you admitted some sort of personal spiritual practices.
Three quarters of you are male, one quarter female and you're all basically white though the range of sexual preference expressed was mind boggling - good for you!
Most of you have been extremely generous in recommending the site to your friends which we appreciate. Half of you want more smart-ass attitude, half of you like it the way it is. A little less than half want more spiritual content. No one wanted less of anything.
Most of you don't care about chat (whew!) or Praymate of the Month, though you DO want more testimonies.
Most of you were born in the 60s though the second largest group was born in the 40s. And for those of you that follow the stars, most of our readers were born in December, the same month as Jesus!
