Many of you have written asking that we post reader responses, both positive and negative. I usually toss the negative mail so most of these are from the Abortion is Not a Sin web page. I'll start saving the general negative responses to post here. Do check out the letters from friends as well.

I've omitted personal information in most cases and edited for brevity, believe me, negativity just goes on and on.

As humans we are given free will to make our own decisions, right or wrong. God does not condem us for our failures. It is only when we do not repent for our failures,that we are judged accordingly. Sex is a gift from MY God. It is a gift given and intended for married people, one female with one male, with the outcome of producing a child - another gift from MY God. It sounds like there is a concentrated effort to denegrate Christians on your web page. Is that everything and all that you want to do? Or do you have a life?

My name is Ron. I am 42 years old. I am severely disabled as the result of an auto accident. The accident happened in 1973 and left me paralyzed from my shoulders on down. I haven't stood up in almost 25 years. But, life goes on.

While surfing the net I came across your web site and felt the need to reply. I am a born-again Christian. I do not hate or even dislike people who are homosexual. I care and that's why I've taken hours to research this subject, writing and typing with a pen or stick in my mouth. I read your web site and ask that you please read this letter.

I understand that Christianity has been used and abused by many who call themselves Christians and in a land of free speech, you have the right to express your opinions. However, as a former un-bornagain, left wing, hippy, I can assure you that there is a Heaven to attain and a Hell to avoid. I was looking for help with me post abortion trauma - my abortion was 12 years ago and is effecting my life. I do not feel the Bible verse were used accuately. The Lord is working in me to resolve me feeling regarding the bad decision I made when I was a teenager. Abortion is murder and God choose who is to carry a baby. Pregnancy does not occur everytime there is intercourse. God opens the womb and allow conception. Meaning "breathe life". Amen

You are whacked man, I guess if you try hard enough you can twist anything to sound the way you want it to. Before my son was born when he would kick the inside of his mother's stomach, you know he was alive. During abortions the baby will try to get away from the abortionist. You know this means life. Dead things/objects don't do such, yet you offer justification for your views through a certain translation of passages of scripture. You know in your heart what is right.

I am against abortion and I don't think that female should have abortions but there are some circumstances behind it which are if you are raped of course many women would want to have an abortion, however I don't think abortion be allowed to those who have sex for fun.
