Many of you have written asking that we post reader responses, both positive and negative. So each month we'll post letters from friends (and letters from faux.) We will omit personal information from the postings in most cases.

JANUARY 1998

Regarding your sound clip at Infinity Factory, we (my wife, daugter and I) had a fine time listening to it. We even pre-empted Garrison Keillor and Prarie Home Companion to do so.

Hey , just got my membership package.....that was a dime well spent! Humor with a message, now I can have some more fun with fundamentalist co-workers.

Thank you for this eye opening report. I have always thought that many christians were a little misguided, and this gives my theroy some base.

This page has been helpful in my present situation as it has opened my options.

This is a fantastic page and was very informative. I am not a christian, I believe everything having to do with Christianity or any of the slave religons are very redundant, but this is a strong argument. Feel free to tell me what other Pro-Choice people feel, nix@voyager.net

hey, great page

I like your web page.

I would like to thank you and let you know that your site is a great addition to all of the "pro-choice"/informative abortion web sites. I think that more people should read the Bible with an open mind and heart as you have obviously done. And if because you have done so, you will spend an eternity in Hell then I and many other women will be there next to you because we have had abortions and do not see them as sins.

Poppy, I love you!!! Just wanted to drop you a positive note. Really funny and refreshing site!

love your site, great!!!

Wow!!! what an indepth study of the scriptures. . . Now I don't feel so guilty. I find these truths insightful, enlightening and liberating. Thank God for showing me the wonderful light. God still loves me. PS I had it done @ 6 weeks, I wanted to consider it tissue removal, not murder. Now I can. Thank you from my heart.

I love your web site and wish there were more iconoclasts like you on the 'Net. Anyway, thanks again for your sublime and irreverent web site!

Just wanted to let you know what a good laugh I had at your site.

So many humorless people have claimed me as their lord and savior. I just don't know how it happened that way. You should have seen me wandering around India between the ages of 14 and 32. I was a holy terror, let me tell you!

And I just can't believe people use my name to revile homosexuals. Did you see any women among my disciples? And my breast wasn't the only place John laid his head!

Then that mugwump P(S)aul thought he had a conversion experience. Ate some bad mushrooms along the road and humanity has been paying for it ever since.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

Yours truly,

J.C.

This site is a very interesting approach to the Pro-Choice position. I generally argue from the "mind your own business" podium, but I've never thought of a response to those who believe that life begins at conception. I've printed this site, and I plan on sharing it with my liberty-loving friends.

Your online magazine is a breath of fresh air! I found it both amusing and informative, in great contrast to the fundamentalist Christian sites, which i find amusing and terrifying.

The article on the "Christian" Founding Fathers was on target and should be read by the 'new fundamentalists' who seem to believe that a particular form of Chritianity should be promptly shoved down everyone's throat by a Christian government.

I shall bookmark this site and visit often. (And I am promptly emailing my thanks to a friend who emailed me the URL of your site!)

i enjoyed your web site a great deal and i plan on bookmarking it and visiting again when i have more time to read :)

anyway, just wanted to let you know that your site is being seen :) keep up the good work! btw, i am a graphic artist, and in my professional opinion, the design of your site is great :)

The site is thoughtful and funny at the same time. However, the "which religion" game is not offensive enough.

Oh well, can't please everyone, right?

Very funny. Can't wait until company leaves and I can read the whole thing!

You are very clever. Bravo!
