MARCH 1998

Gawd, I LOVE your site..., a friend lead me to you. Damn shame the born again at work is leaving, otherwise he'd be finding your great little tracts in interesting places (sigh) Born again Pagan

You people are beautiful!

Everybody twists the bible to fit their own purposes. THIS IS THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE! Besides, why don't all of those that are arguing with the reasoning look at the conclusion and reread the quote from Galatians 2:21. Whatever you believe, you cannot impose your beliefs on other people. That is simply....Unamerican. We do not live in God's country! (Read the establishment clause of the constitution) Please, accept the fact that you don't know everything and that other people WILL have different moral views from you. Some (the shock) might even be atheists. Otherwise this site was very informative and extremely interesting. You have the right view on religion. If religion and rightiousness are forced on someone they may not as well exist. KEEP IT UP. You have restored my faith in humanity.

This article makes alot of sence. Always people are telling me that abortion is wrong, and it says so in the Bible. I've always disagreed with that, this article showed me that there are actual quotes in the Bible saying it is Okay. You've open a door for many people on the truth about abortion.

It bothers me that Prolifers are so set on what someone does with THEIR OWN BODY. We aren't concerned with what they do to their own body.

I feel it is not right that christians can sit there and call us sinners. Aren't they supposed to invite their fellow brothers in and help them and not judge them for what they have done? No man is perfect every man has sinned. Who is he to look down on me for a choice I make?

Bravo. Keep up the good work. And pass the ammunition -- we pro-choice Catholics need all we can get.

I truly believe that abortion is a choice and i believe that if you don't believe that you are not ready to have a child than it's your choice you don't have to.

I think the sex tour is great. It made me rethink on what I've been programmed to think for a long time. I did get a lot out of it and the whole website of PostFun, or Adult Christanity? It set me free from a lot of dogmatic bondage right now:))
thanks

This is very true. Abortion is not killing. It is just giving a person a chance to live there life without a child. What is the point to have a unwanted child?

Though I do not categorize myself as a Christian, per se, I do believe in the Creator. I revere life, all life, and would not willingly choose abortion for myself. However, I would not see that right taken from those who need the choice.

I found your site very confusing. I don't know what side you are taking. I myself think that abortion is a personal choice and is all up to the female whether she should get an abortion. No one else can make up her mind because they won't have to live and support that child for the next twenty or more years. Maybe at 1 day old [the fetus] is full of life but who is someone to say that the female can not destroy that life if it will destroy hers. She created it. At 1 day old it can not feel pain and does not have a heart beat, so I ask you - how can it be full of life?

I've read those Friend, and Faux letters. I didn't like what some of those Faux letters said. I don't think some of them should be judging and saying your going to hell, or going to fry. I think Jesus, said "Judge not and you won't be judged" Those people I think they might end up getting judged themselves. That's just my opinion.

Thank you ever so much for the tasteful and delightful membership kit which recently arrived in my smailbox. My faith in humanity is renewed. Surely you are a thingy of postcreation.

I got a kick out of your March letter - the headquarters move to Hollywood, and the statement made with that description. I needed a good laugh today. I am almost done reading Bower's, "Stealing Jesus: How Fundamentalism Betrays Christianity." It's been quite the quality read. Very solidifying for a baby ex-fundamentalist like myself. Thanks for mentioning it in your web-site

I don't know whether anyone will read this, but I want to thank you for your service & say how much I enjoy your work. This is the only unsolicited mail I've received that I actually like! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the emails about updates to your site. I always forward them to other interested friends.

By the way, not wanting to be written off as just another panting lustful web-nerd but that's a VERY fetching photo you're using for the Letter from the Editor link.

As well as being funny and informative, your website is also reassuring in that it demonstrates that there are some Christians who have a brain, an open mind, and -- perhaps most importantly -- a working sense of humour.

Have you guys ever gotten any hate mail from anyone who knows how to spell?

Could you possibly make your web page a little less attractive? Right now it looks so nice that it's damaging my self-esteem.

I just found your web site, and I LOVE this stuff. Yes, I am a "born-again" Christian, who has to put up with idiots. I love the Beast self-exam!! This stuff is a riot. (But what if the "Mark of the Beast" is your MOUSE, and 666 describes the repetitive motion injury you get from gnarly fingers using your mouse?) Hey, you didn't have to listen to Bible studies on this stuff for nine years. But it's no use. I have used the bar codes AND my bankcard.

Abortion is entirly a personal matter. Any person who has to make the decision to have an aborion would have to go through a terrible time. After reading the responses some of you so called Chrsitians should think about the referenece, 'Do not judge and you will not be judged'

I really appreciate this compilation of pro-choice biblical quotes. It helped me a great deal in a rebuttal to the pro-life side of a formal debate. I am personally an agnostic, so naturally I was not very farmiliar with quotes to use as a rebuttal.

I am a sophomore in high school, a Catholic high school, and for my term research paper I have to do work on the issues of abortion. I found your page sooo helpful because this is probably the most frequently asked question. Thank you for the reference; for my research paper, it is definitley an asset.

women clerly,(as stated in the law),have a choice. so if you think you change a womans mind with one of your "shall not kill" signs your wrong. A woman should be free to make a choice for abortion.and all that junk about killing abortion doctors is for the birds! I may be only 13, but i know wrong and right so if you think that killing doctors will stop the increasing rate of abortions you are wrong! I myself (intending to become a doctor) will say that yes killing is wrong but abortion is legal and therfore not murder. So if you think killing doctors is legal but not abortion which is truly legal you have a few screws loose. Let the women make choices for themslves not someones elses.

I believe what your saying is true. Everyone uses the bible as a source to determine if abortion is a sin or not. When I discuss abortion the bible is always brought up about how God's said its a sin. And if you do have an abortion you will burn in hell. I'm glad someones out there who understands. Also you said Job 33:44, you made an error its Job 33:4.
Keep up the good work....
