As the judge pronounced "I sentence you to six years in state prison", my whole crazy life came crashing in on me. I thought why bother even living, just kill yourself and be done with the whole miserable mess. Then I started thinking about it and I realized there must be a God, and if anything was ever going to change me, it would have to be God.

So I began to pray and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to save me and to give me something to live for. I was a loser and a dope fiend and now behind bars for several years. There must be a better way of life. A happy-fun life, not sad like mine. Well, sure enough, the more I prayed, the more my life became what I've always dreamed of. I was full of peace, joy, and contented with whom I was. No more dope or booze, just me and Jesus and many Christian brothers and sisters to share my life with. What a great life I have.

The Bible says in Romans 10:13 "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved". Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
