CURIOSITIES of the BIBLE, written by E. B. Treat in 1879 is a fascinating
little book that I picked up at a used book store in San Rafael, California.
As a collector of popular Christian ephemera I was very excited to find
this book and hope that you enjoy the lessons as much as I have.The book contains 30 chalkboard lessons, exquisite drawings rendered in white chalk on a blackboard. Each is accompanied by a moral lesson. They were executed by an unnamed "New York Sunday-School
Superintendent", and originally published by S. W. Clark.I will be posting a new selection every month so keep coming back for the
