Beer and sports often go together like babies and bottles. They're a great way to make the game more enjoyable and also give yourself a little buzz during all the action. It looks like this kid found an alternative.

Eagerly wanting to see the Duke Blue Devils lose, he's employed a tactic that is sure to either get Duke even more fired up, or have them crying in the locker afterward. Cups will be ready to catch all the teardrops.

How great is this sign? As we all know for sure, one great thing did come out of Texas and her name is Sandy Cheeks. The karate fighting, under-the-water dwelling squirrel who happens to be one of Spongebob Squarepants' best friends.

According to this fan, there is another great person to come from Texas. His name is Nick Victor and he donned the number 21 on his jersey. How does he stack up against Sandy? That's still up for debate.

There are and have been plenty of great basketball coaches in college. You have the legendary Coach K, Jim Boeheim, and many more that fans have come to know and love. Clearly, we can't forget about Coach Cal.

This fan claims that he is her spirit animal during the tournament and we love it. Even though Cal has a bit of a questionable history attached to him, it's great that this girl will admit that she and Cal are connected on a spiritual level.

Back in 2013, this kid went full-savage mode, bringing up stuff from the past that probably still haunts Michigan fans (and Chris Webber). Hopefully, you're familiar with the moment Webber called a timeout in the crucial moment of the game when his team didn't have any. It ultimately cost the Wolverines the match.

These days, the players have a better presence of mind and don't make that mistake anymore. Webber sacrificed himself for the good of today's college hoopers.

Refs Find A Way To Ruin Everything

Referees across all sports must plot together on how they can ruin perfectly good games. One bad call here then leads to another bad call when the game is close and time is almost running out. It's always something with refs.

That's why these college kids made this sign as a way to protest what they've been seeing for as long as they can remember. Hopefully, the refs saw this and decided to change their ways for the rest of the game.

This Texas A&M Aggies mom wasn't having it this day. She held this sign up during the 2018 March Madness tournament and she meant business. The scowl on her face just furthers the fact that she meant what the sign reads.

Hype sometimes means something, but a lot of the time, it doesn't mean anything. She hit the bullseye with this statement. Nothing is more frustrating then when a player or team receives all the attention and doesn't live up to expectations.

Let's face it, Perry Ellis looks like he's a super senior times ten. By his senior year, his hairline was vanishing and he looked like he could be someone's youngish grandfather.

To be fair, it's not his fault that he looks like that. He has genetics to blame. Still, that doesn't mean the fans in the crowd can't poke fun at him for looking that way. This probably messed up his free-throw routine the first time he looked at it.

With a proud smile, this student makes a bold statement with her condescending sign. She showcased this message in a game her Syracuse Orange played against the North Carolina Tar Heels. Do you think the Tar Heels are taking fake classes?

That's a debate for another day and we're aren't going to agree or disagree with this young lady. We're just going to appreciate the sign and hope that she didn't hurt anyone's feelings with it.

What A Strange Fetish

Whether people admit it not, many of them probably have had some type of fetish in their lifetime. We're not holding it against them though, because it's nothing to be ashamed of. Just look at these ladies proudly announcing their Foote fetish.

When they say Foote, they meant Jeff Foote of Cornell. Cornell played the Kentucky Wildcats in the regional semifinal of the 2010 NCAA tournament. At least these ladies are honest and upfront about it. Foote must have felt amazing about this.

There's one thing you can't say about this guy. No one can ever say he doesn't know what he wants. Announcing his love for Belle Knox during the 2014 tournament was a sight to behold.

Perhaps the sign worked, too! The Mercer Bears would go on to defeat the Duke Blue Devils that match 78-71. Maybe Knox saw the sign and activated a different level of his game thanks to the support of this fan. You never know what fan signs are capable of.

Such A Trip

The pettiness of this sign is ridiculous. This was at a semifinal matchup between North Carolina and Syracuse, Duke was nowhere in sight. Still, this fan had the audacity to take a dig at phenom Grayson Allen.

Apparently, he's tripped up someone before. The play on words here is worth noting and what makes it a petty and clever sign at the same time. One point for this fan, negative two for Allen.

Terminator Ware

In one of the most gruesome injuries in college basketball history, Kevin Ware snapped his leg in half after landing from a jump. The nation felt the pain and everyone had Ware in their prayers, and rightfully so; Ware was on the verge of going pro.

The situation wasn't funny at all, but this sign hopefully made Ware crack a few smiles seeing himself as the Terminator. This was a playful and caring way for the fan to show support.

"I just hope both teams have fun," has to go down as one of the funniest yet most thoughtful NCAA tournament fan signs ever. Then you have "this is a sign" right next to it. These two must be trolling.

But the ultimate troll is the third sign from the left. That's got to hurt right in the soul to know you've lost six times in the championship and to be reminded of it while you're playing for another.

Matt Howard helped lead the Butler Bulldogs to the National Championship game a while back as a senior. By his last year in college, he certainly had his fair share of fans. They loved him so much, they wanted him to run for president.

Listing his credentials, we didn't know being a "weird dude" was enough. Maybe having turtleneck socks can cut it, but isn't everyone weird in their own way? Or maybe we're diving too much into this one.

What do you get when you cross a pirate and an Irish man? You don't get anything at all, this isn't some strange science experiment. However, this guy made the combination happen and he wants you to kiss him.

We wouldn't advise kissing the first ever known "pirish" man. You never know what ulterior motives he could have. Just be careful before you go kissing anybody, is all we're trying to say.

What's better than a March Madness showdown? A March Madness showdown between two teams that have mascots with massive beaks, that's what! The Oregon Ducks matching up against the Kentucky University Jayhawks is classic.

Many would probably pay just to watch the mascots go center court and start a break dancing battle. Which beak could pull off the cooler moves? Our money is going on the Oregon Duck because it reminds us of Daffy Duck and Donald Duck at the same time.

Mother jokes are funny, but you should never use them against people you aren't already extremely cool with. Does this sign classify as a mother joke? We're going with yes.

A Hoya might be a mascot but it isn't something you would want to call someone's mother. The stern look on the fan's face really shows that he's serious about it. This guy might get into a lot of fights.

There are so many people that don't appreciate the greatness of the Duke Blue Devils. It might be thanks to excellent recruiting or Coach K, but that doesn't mean they aren't great. Who in the world are the Dooks?

Anticipating a victory in the tournament is a gutsy move. They had to get by Oregon before advancing and they're a tough team. The wittiness on the Oregon poster is nice as well so we had to acknowledge.

Another Slight At Allen

It looks like Grayson Allen can't catch any breaks! All it takes is one dirty play and the fans of every other team will be there to haunt you until you either graduate or move on the NBA. Hopefully, it doesn't carry over to there.

For Allen, it kind of did, but he's been quiet since so it doesn't make that much of a difference. He shouldn't have tripped anyone to begin with and maybe he wouldn't have made this list.
