Disguised as a marketing organization, NXIVM is a cult that gained headlines in 2018 because of their notable members.

Allison Mack, best known from her role in Smallville, and Keith Raniere, the CEO of the company, were arrested for their role in the sex trafficking that was happening in the company. Female members were referred to as slaves and had to send nude photos and other damaging information as “collateral” to the company if they wanted to join.
