The concept of the Taco Bell chihuahua was developed by Thomas Rinks and Joseph Shields. However, the fast food restaurant failed to pay the men for their hard work.

Rinks and Shields sued Taco Bell, and the restaurant was court ordered to pay them 42.1 million dollars. Taco-bout a ruff day in court!
