McDonald’s Is Bringing Back Your Favorite Retro Happy Meal Toys

Remember the good old days when the most stressful thing in your life was if your favorite Beanie Babies or My Little Pony toy was in your Happy Meal at McDonald's? Well, McDonald's is attempting to make all of your nostalgic dreams come true! They're bringing back all of the best Retro Happy Meal toys.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Happy Meal, which helped make McDonald's the huge fast food company it is today. Today, roughly one in four orders at the restaurant include a Happy Meal.

"Since the Happy Meal was introduced on the menu, it quickly became synonymous with our brand," former McDonald's CEO Steve Easterbrook said in a statement. “Today, this iconic red box creates lasting memories for billions of families annually across the world.”

To celebrate the milestone, the company is re-releasing some of its most popular retro toys. There will be 15 toys available including Ty Beanie Babies' Patti The Platypus, My Little Pony, Tamagotchi, and Furby. There are also two toys available exclusively in the US: 101 Dalmatians and Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey.

The toys will be included in special limited-edition Surprise Happy Meals that will be available November 7-11 in more than 90 countries around the globe while supplies last.
