Europeans on average get way more vacation time than workers in the US. It’s no secret that Americans are known for getting overworked and sometimes underpaid. Europeans barely have to work 40 hour weeks and get a lot more leeway on vacations. It can be frowned upon for some of us to take off 2-3 days, not to mention a full week, while overseas it’s very normal.
