The legal drinking age in the US is 21. Does it make any sense? Absolutely not. Why can you vote, buy cigarettes, drive a car, buy a gun etc but can’t be trusted with alcohol? In Europe, the drinking age is 18 and in some places, it’s even less. Not to mention, drinking in public is very very common over there as well.
