Honestly, I think it serves this guy right for mass texting “Happy New Year!” to his entire contact list. Everybody knows it’s New Year’s. They don’t need that random guy from the office to remind them about it.

I know he was trying to do a nice thing, and the word “cognizant” is actually the worst, but just don’t reach out to people if you don’t want to be disappointed, I guess. Wow, that got dark fast.
