This woman driving with her dog in the front seat and her husband in the backseat is a visual representation of my household’s dynamics. Mom is always the queen. What mom says, goes. Naturally, she got herself a dog to be her right-hand man. The husband and kids are just extra mouths to feed.

Those extra mouths to feed make it a lot harder to throw a party, but that didn’t stop the parents coming up.
