Some people just aren’t cut out for the kitchen life. I think the saying goes, “if you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.”

This person has every right to do take-out and delivery for the rest of their life. It’s easy to assume that this person probably would’ve been the “idiot sandwich” person on Hell’s Kitchen if they tried out.
