Harry Potter ‘Dobby’ Look-Alike Spotted On Woman’s Security Camera
In early June, a video surfaced that showed what looked like the character Dobby from the Harry Potter franchise. The clip went viral after it was shared on Twitter by someone who found the clip on Facebook, posted by a woman named Vivian Gomez.
The video shows a small figure with skinny legs, and big ears walking down the driveway and doing a dance before the video abruptly ends. Gomez discovered the footage when she woke up on Sunday night.
She commented: "First I saw the shadow walking from my front door then I saw this thing....has anyone else seen this on their cameras??" So, she posted it to Facebook to see if anyone might have an idea what it is.
Of course, not everyone was willing to believe that Gomez had captured a house elf on camera. Some Twitter users pointed out that there are two shadows in the footage and that the unknown figure might be a puppet of some kind.
On the other hand, Harry Potter fans were rejoicing that the deceased house elf had come back to life miraculously. People were so emotional about Dobby's death in the story that author JK Rowling made a public apology on Twitter in 2018.
