Directors are known for having conversations with their audiences in their movies. For Spielberg, his films are attentive and curious to the mind of the movie-goer like Jaws or Raiders of the Lost Ark. Nobody ever got the feeling that Speilberg’s thinking was “my way or the highway.” It was more of “what do you think?”

Lucas is like the guy at the party who says one brilliant thing then shuts up for the night. He’s a shy person that’s resentful and somewhat like a hermit. Between the two of them, George was the one who earned a lifetime of fame very quickly after graduating from college.
