The Komodo dragon is the most massive lizard on earth, has sharp claws and serrated teeth, but that’s not their most dangerous killing weapon. The Komodo dragon’s bad breath is their go-to weapon because it is highly infected. They have bad gums which continuously get cut and bleed, which allows tons of infections to make themselves at home. It’s late-stage gingivitis.

This bad breath and the germs that come with it make their bite as deadly as a poisonous one. The Komodo dragon will bite their prey and then just hang out until that prey eventually dies from an infection. This is a reminder not to miss any dentist appointments.
