Some of these animals have primitive ways to attack, but the tentacle sea snake is as advanced as you can get. The snake is smart enough to know other animals evolutionary instincts. The snake’s food of choice is fish, but most fish are faster than the snake, so it has to have some tricks up its tentacles.

Tentacle snakes have figured out that fish will swim away if it senses danger in the sound waves of the water. The snake hangs out underwater in an upward position so that their tail is on the ocean floor. When a fish is close enough, the snake will motion using its tail. The fish thinks the danger is down there, so will swim in the opposite direction, straight up towards the snake’s mouth. Sike.
