A lot of these animals have incredible attack mechanisms that work against other animals, but the cone snail is surprisingly dangerous to humans. The cone snail has venom so potent and so secretive that you might not even know you were stung and it can be fatal.

The shells of a cone snail are gorgeous, which is why a lot of humans will pick up the animal and put themselves in danger. The snail comes equipped with a little harpoon that it can shoot out from its shell that holds the venom. Since it has limited vision, the snail has been known to release the harpoon any time it feels in danger, so no one is safe.
