What’s worse than a fish with a switchblade? A lizard with knives for ribs. The Iberian Ribbed Newt has two crazy killing techniques. When they feel like they’re in danger, they begin to sweat a poison through their skin. But, of course, just having a deadly poison is never enough.

The newt will then inflate his rib cage which pushes the end of their ribs through their skin to become tiny little knives around the body. The rib-knives are coated with the poison and become the deadliest shank in Spain. The Iberian Ribbed Newt is basically just transforming itself into a stegosaurus to kill you.
