An orca, otherwise known as a killer whale, is actually a dolphin, but they live up to the “killer” part of their name. Orcas hunt in packs and take no prisoners. They have been known to follow their prey until they give up from exhaustion. The packs have also been seen creating waves together to knock animal off icebergs.

Those are all pretty tame when you learn that they also play with their food. Videos have shown orcas paying with a sea lion and tossing it around with their tails for nearly an hour before showing mercy and finally eating it.
