IKEA Is Offering A Very Strange Pregnancy Test And People Don’t Know What To Think

Oh, IKEA. Perhaps most well known for their European-based furniture that is nearly impossible to put together properly. Einstein would get home with an IKEA bed frame and give up after 40 hours of immense frustration and anger.

They’ve now entered the pregnancy world with their first ad campaign of 2018. It’s not controversial by any means, but it is unique in that it’s the most interactive ad they’ve ever put out.

How this works is that you pee on that rectangular strip under the picture of the baby crib. This strip has the same sensors as a pregnancy test. If you’re pregnant, a new price for that crib will appear and that’s also your key to a discounted product. If you’re not pregnant then you have to pay full price AND suffer the stresses of putting the product together.
