Don’t throw out the tops of your carrots or the bottom of your celery bunch! Repurpose that stuff and make a delicious vegetable stock.
Each time you cook, collect all of your food scraps in a ziplock bag. You can keep the bag of scraps in your freezer for up to six months. When you’re ready to make a stock, just add it to some water, bring the water to a boil, let the whole thing simmer for 30 minutes, then strain and enjoy!
