The X-Men franchise has had its ups and downs over time, but they’ve never been a total bomb with both the critics and the audience. When they revamped X-Men in 2011, it was a major hit. The hype was too much though, and X-Men Apocalypse was like the awkward cousin that doesn’t belong in the family photo.
