Oh, John Travolta, when will you learn? Looking back, we all now realize that Battlefield Earth was Travolta’s way of bringing Scientology to the big screen. The plot is directly taken from a book written by L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology.

Not unlike the religion, there’s also zero logic in the film. We don’t hate fantasy films, but if it’s set on earth, maybe follow some of the rules.
