The cabin that Kaczynski lived in gave the FBI all the evidence they needed. It held all the parts for bombs, more than 40,000 pages of journal entries, and even a bomb ready to be mailed.

Most telling, the FBI found the original manuscript for Kaczynski’s manifesto. The cabin was so vital that it was moved to Washington, D.C. and can be seen today in the Newseum.
