Gerard Butler and Russell Crowe are another example of two phenomenal actors who take on completely different roles. Butler is best known for his roles in romantic comedies, and particularly as The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera.

Crowe instead is more into action and drama films like Gladiator, American Gangster, and A Beautiful Mind. Just like Isla Fisher and Amy Adams, if you’re the dramatic actor, you make the A-list faster than the comedic actor.
