Damon Wayans Has Clubbed Feet

Damon Wayans from My Wife and Kids was born with clubbed feet. This birth defect occurs in one out of every one thousand people. Wayans had surgery when he was younger to correct this condition, which is severely painful and can be debilitating.

He said before the surgery, other kids used to tease him about the shape of his feet. He developed a knack for comedy as a defense mechanism while the kids teased him about his leg braces. He underwent multiple surgeries and dropped out of high school in the ninth grade.
