River Cuomo Has One Leg That’s Shorter Than The Other

When Wheezer frontman River Cuomo was eleven-years-old, he discovered that his left leg was 44mm shorter than his right leg. This really put a damper on his dream of becoming a soccer player.

In an interview for The Guardian, Cuomo said, “I went into two years of real sadness and confusion, not knowing what I wanted to do with my life; then I discovered heavy-metal guitar and I haven’t looked back.” Years later, Cuomo had pretty intensive surgery to resolve the issue.
