Shania Twain Had First Dibs On A Beyoncé Song

It’s hard to imagine any Beyoncé song working for country music star Shania Twain, but “Irreplaceable” originally had a country twang to it.

Singer-songwriter Ne-Yo penned the track and wanted to send it off to Shania or Faith Hill. Bey got her hands on it first and turned it into a breakup bop, so we’re okay with it.
