Perhaps one of the most famous cults in history. Charles Manson and his followers became household names after their involvement in the murder of actress Sharon Tate and four others.

Although Manson himself wasn’t at the murders, he was the mastermind behind them. The cult was known for taking hallucinogenic drugs which significantly altered their view of life. Manson was seen as a God to his followers who would literally do anything for him.
