She found out that no group of friends could ever agree on the goal of the trip – whether it was members wanting to get into alcohol and drugs, others looking for hookup,s and some just wanting to hang out in the pool while other wanted to explore. “When I realized that my purpose was not aligned to any of these [things my friends wanted to do], I was forced to travel solo. I have an unmatchable level of energy on my travels. Solo traveling eventually became a way of life for me,” she said.
