Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer Announce Tour Together

Have we gone back in time? Is it 2005 again?

With Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Weezer joining forces for a joint tour in 2020 it seems that these iconic bands aren't going anywhere no matter how many years they've been touring.

The three bands announced the "Hella Mega Tour" on September 10th, 2019 with all three releasing new songs to celebrate.

The tour will consist of all stadium shows, something that none of the three bands have ever done.

"It's kind of a Green Day idea," frontman Billie Joe Armstrong told Beats 1 Radio. “And we talked about how we weren’t really wanting to do stadiums and do something that was like a throwback to Monsters of Rock Tour. There was, of course, Fall Out Boy and Weezer and now we’re stoked.”

The tour will follow a new album released by Green Day titled "Father Of All...", likely to drop in February.

"Yeah, we made a new record and we're really excited, it's only 26 minutes long, so it's the shortest record we've made, I think since 'Dookie' or 'Insomniac'," says Armstrong.

Tickets for the "Hella Mega Tour" go on sale September 20th, 2019.
